Amount
In an effort to engage donors in the giving process, the Tutorpedia Foundation is very transparent with where money is going. Individuals and corporations can choose from several levels of donation, and in so doing can sponsor a student, sponsor a workshop, sponsor a school, or sponsor an entire school district. The Tutorpedia Foundation accepts donations in any amount, big or small. More than 80% of all donations pay for tutors and other direct program costs. Suggested giving levels are outlined below.
- $35: One hour of one-on-one tutoring
- $140: One month of one-on-one tutoring
- $500: One semester of one-on-one tutoring
- $1,000: Sponsor a student! One year of one-on-one tutoring
- $2,500: Sponsor a workshop! One 12-hour workshop (eg. SAT class)
- $5,000: Sponsor a school! One year of one-on-one tutoring for 5 students
- $10,000: Sponsor a district! One year of one-on-one tutoring for 2 schools
